I friend volunteers at a local sanctuary/recovery center for birds of prey. This Cooper’s hawk was ready to be released and I was fortunate enough to have them release it in my yard! It looks like I have a new neighbor.

Wow!! Your title is really good.New neighbor will stick around if you have bird feeders. We have a few hawks that cruise the bird feeders in our neighborhood. I wish they liked bologna sandwiches instead of song birds.
