"Bowen's Wharf"
Looking much as it may have in early colonial days, Bowen's Wharf in Newport, RI, is a family favorite... dining, shopping, strolling... and especially photography!
"Whether you come to Bowen's Wharf to experience salty seas on a quiet day, or venture here for one of our great festivals or seasonal highlights, you will leave with an unmatched impression of Newport." --web site
Some of you are seeing B&W. The image is in sepia tone! See:

...the LEFT is what is posted here; the right is B&W!

I don't usually like black and white (a throwback to the days when color wasn't available), but this seems absolutuely appropriate. (gotta learn how to add the webshots link)

Sorry for my mistake about the color, Rob!!

No apology necessary, Mike! Just figured if my sepia tones are too light, I'd look to darken or make them more red in the future! :~)

Wonderful shot in black/sepia (sorry, couldn't resist that) It does look like a very old sepia print that has started to fade, adds a great aged touch to the sailing vessel motif.
