  "Homeward Bound". It looks as though there may be some young ones in the flock that haven't learned to fly in formation yet.
  There is a flock of Ibis that passes us each evening, sometimes in a beautiful V formation and sometimes in smaller groups or a very loose formation. Beautiful to see always and all ways.

  Cool capture. I'd label it "Skein Teamwork" because all the birds except the first are flying in the upwash from the wingtip vortices of the bird ahead. The lead bird rotates to spread flight fatigue equally among the flock members.
