Summer of '08. There were three and four of these bees at a time in that one little flower. They were zooming around, and I was lucky to grab this shot.

Great title. You and Michael should get together with his photo of the inebriated bee on his back. You need one more. If you had a triptich with one drunk on one side and another one inebriated on the other with the dinner date in the middle, that would be pretty classic. I've never seen more than one bee at a time in a flower either.
