January 20, 2009. 7:12am. I was already 3 hours (yes 3!) into my Inauguration adventure and it seemed like I would never get to the Mall to view the Capitol head on.

And I didn't. After being herded like cattle for hours and continously misdirected by the powers that be, I called it a day and went home. But not before catching awesome pics of the crowds! I made it home just in time to see the swearing in on tv.
