Charles Dickens' "Christmas Carol" was first published on December 19, 1843... Except for electric lights, this scene pre-dates that by nearly 250 years!
BEFORE wind chill it was -33 degrees! Just back from celebrating my daughter's birthday... +25 degrees back home feels warm! Shot 1/18/09 in "mild" snow flurries with a Canon G10 wearing ear muffs and a scarf.
