Grabbing The Day Lily
This is a picture I shot many years ago of our dog, Koki when she was 6 months old. She is still with us and will be 15 in April...She is part cocker spaniel and part poodle...I had been outside taking pictures when Koki ran to the same flowers that I was photographing and as if on cue grabbed the Day Lily in her mouth. I caught the action.

This is such a cute photo! Your Koki reminds me of our Buffy when we had her. She too was part cocker spaniel and part poodle and she was a color similar to Koki but with more tan in her fur, however Koki has more poodle in her than Buffy did. Buffy looked more cocker. I really loved that dog. I had her for 16 wonderful years.

Yes, we certainly do get attached to our pets and I know it will be a sad day when we no longer have Koki after this many years. Koki is slowing down now and not as lively anymore.
