IF THE MOON WERE GREEN (a study in grey)

This shot is of a seldom visited valley along the Canaima river in Canaima national park Venezuela. I visited here with Miguel my gude and a few others. He informed me that he thinks that somewhere back in there, there might be a route to the top of the cliffs and from there hopefully a path to Angel falls the tallest water fall in the world. He claimed that no one had ever been back there not even anyone from his village. Since then my imagination has been racing about making a return trip. This is the best place I have ever been in the world because of what it represents. Just a few steps more and figuratively it would be as if you were walking on the moon. Each new step being a virgin step the planets first. It is amazing to think that there are places still left on this earth where man has not ventured. Inviting no?
