The Miner's Basin area of the La Sal Mountains was ravaged by a wildfire in late fall 2008. I knew there would be some interesting opportunities so I headed up there yesterday. I had intended to get into the trees but forgot to bring my snowshoes. After walking about 1 mile through knee deep snow I decided to use my long lens to extract some scenes. This was my favorite of the collection.
