Traditional bull release in the Azores (Terceira Island).
The bulls are set loose around the town square and connecting streets. Anyone can have a go at playing catch with the bull! (It is not harmed in any way.)
The rope is only used to keep the bull within the selected street boundaries and to guide it back into the "curral" once the release is over.
This guy with the umbrella is always around!
