Great shot, but aerodynamically powered isn't it?

Brian Ragsdale said (12 Aug 2007):
Smiley you make a good point. But if you think about it, it would not be an airplane without gravity.Gravity is a natural force acting upon the airplane. The air that passes beneath the wing is deflected downward. This causes an opposite upward force (Newton's 3rd Law of Action & Reaction) that acts upon the underside of the wing. So in the larger scope of things, without gravity there would be no lift and without lift it would not fly. Or I might be over thinking thing and looking for a reason to post this picture.

Beautiful and added to my faves but I don't feel it fits the theme at all (even after taking Newton's Law into account).

Great shot, reminds me a lot of Captain Alfred Buckham's photos, with the dramatic clouds.
Lovely! -
Ben Ellett gave props (30 Aug 2007):
I'm a pilot in training myself, and I think it fits the theme perfectly, because without gravity, anything could fly.

The Indigo Girls have these lines in one of thier songs:
"up in an airplane,
nearer my God, to Thee;
I start making a deal,
inspired by gravity..." -
