Toy Car Focus Stack
When I was little, one of my favorite toys was this rusty old car. I decided to take a focus stack of it.
I used a Nikon 50mm f/1.4D reverse mounted on a Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6G to capture 24 images of variable focus, which I in turn composited with CombineZP.
I used Nikon Camera Control to control the focus.
At this level of magnification, and with this level of detail, the image almost looks like it was taken with an electron microscope.
