I am just finishing my project 365 (366 due to the leap year). I limited myself to using only my Nikon point & shoot S7 and choose to widen the scope so that I wasn't visable in every shot (but isn't every image a self-portrait in some sense). Take a look at the full project here: Tim Needles 366
