This is Lamby, my son's best friend since birth. This lamb is so special to my son that it has become a part of my family. The one time we lost poor Lamby, I actually cried with my son over him. Luckily we found our fluffy family friend and have held tight to him ever since.
Thank you, sweet Lamby, for giving my boy love and comfort when his mommy is absent.
In the The Ones We Love photo essay.

Lovely way to show off lamby. My son ( now thirteen) has a similar loved toy. We all said if we could take one item out of our burning house it would be it. Providing we were all safe of course!!!

Oh, I love the way you did this. Not sure how, actually. How did you get everything but the feet and the lamb to be black? This is very emotional and sweet.

We too have a doll called "smell". He is a rabbit and was lost once and found. It was like a lost child in Ikea. My daughter calls him "smell" b/c we told her it smelled (like old milk). He is apart of the famiy too. I need to include him in a portait with her.

Nice shot! "Lamby" looks pretty much identical to my son's "Lambert", he has also been his best friend from birth :) I don't know what we'd do if we lost him; we left him at daycare once and had to endure 2 days without him.... never again!http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a231/solopop/sovnet.jpg

This is darling, a nice portrayal of flesh and fluff. Even with just feet, I can still see the sense of companionship and connection between the child and Lamby. My stuffed friends are all dear parts of my family as well. They go everywhere with me.
