Granada is located west of Lake Nicaragua and north of Volcán Mombacho.
20,000 years ago, Volcán Mombacho blew its top and created 365 islands in the lake
which are now inhabited by locals and wealthy Nicaraguans and foreigners. The constantly changing weather in Nicaragua (sun, rain, sun, rain)
means that the skies are always breath-taking.
