I met this gentleman on the streets of Paris while on my Honeymoon recently. He sat alone on a bench facing the wall along the river with his back to traffic. He seemed all alone in the sense that no other person was resting nearby, just few walkers going by. He was a bit gruff but when I asked if I could take his portrait, he acquiesced with a thrust of his hand into the air.
