Transport in Rural Kyrgyzstan
Just outside the gates to Burana Tower, we stopped for a snowbound picnic of hot tea and hard boiled eggs. While dining, this young man drove by. My boss, a Kyrgyz woman from the capital city of Bishkek, remarked: "Local transport!"
