This was taken on a whale watching cruise in Alaska. Perched atop this iceberg are two bald eagle mates. Bald eagles mate for life and seeing those two on this mountain of ice that was formed a long long time ago and runs deeper than the surface seemed almost like a metaphor for their devotion to each other.
