I found out later on that she was on her way to a fairy party (only in NY)... I didnt know her name, I had no idea who she was... I just showed her my camera and made a little question mark with my face ;) she nodded and let me take the photo. A year later or so I got an email on my Myspace from this girl who said she was the subway fairy, somehow a friend of hers stumbled upon this photo on my flickr, which lead to my website and she looked for me on myspace and tadaaaah! the connection was made. What are the odds? She is an amazing singer and a sweet sweet girl, her name is Caitlin Krisko. I'm so glad she found me! My subway fairy now has a name AND a voice! -

I love this photo! It saddens me that it won't get published due to submission guidelines! Even if it gets enough votes the committee will rule it out!
