No, this isn't a UFO... and there is no post production going on either.

It's just little old me light painting the watershed tower at midnight on Mount Diablo while coyotes were howling at the full moon all the while.

That really is very well lit. There's a tendancy with coloured gels for them to make things look garish, but you've done a great job.
