This is a resubmitted work to this challenge. Trish Meyer suggested it would look better without the bright glare of the sky.

I like this one much better too... The thick folliage around the gate without the sky I think does better for this type of image, but you are a photography teacher and it is your picture and your decision in the end.

I see you resubmitted this entry and I love how when you cropped off the sky it draws the gate in closer...and also the trumpet vine...Great job and will resubmit my vote!
