In August, Mendenhall Glacier in Alaska, shows all the signs of wear and tear from climate change. Large chunks of blue glacial ice were floating in the lake leading from this glacier. On this warm day, calving was frequent.

Wonderful capture! You were so lucky to be there on a rare sunny day. The blue in the glaciers is really intense. All of my Mendenhall shots are gray and ugly.
