Taken in the Swiss Alps, above Sils-Maria (near St. Moritz).
In the summer, the lower alps become green and golden. Rivulets such as this one form at the top from melting snow, and trickle through the trees down to the lake. When a fierce sun bursts through overcast clouds, it casts a golden light over the scene. The result is magical and never forgotten.
