The "angry" drummer
Harvey looks at times angry. At times, he looks like he is in agony. Actually, he is just totally immersed in his drumming.
Harvey is one half of a two-man British group, the other being guitarist Ben, called “Etc”. They performed last night (30 November 2008) at The Esplanade open air theatre in Singapore.
I actually met Ben on the way there. He was asking directions from the bus driver and I figured he was going to The Esplanade, so I offered to show him the way. He asked why I was going there and when I said I was going to watch a music concert, to my surprise he said: “I’m performing”.
The other thing that surprised me was how much noise this duo could make! Their performance was, at times, very LOUD! – with Harvey driving a mean tempo.
You can hear that he is a good drummer. You can see it too!
