Out on the Balcony
This is where I like to spend the last few minutes of every day. I watch the few cars left on our main road zip by. Listen for trains. (we live in hope of seeing a bus-train-car sighting in the correct rhythm) I look up into the arms of our very own tree fern, which really isn't a lovely spectacle from the street, but when you sit under it, is grand. I love the way light plays through it's leaves. On a weekend morning I listen to the local Tui bird sitting in the big tree in our neighbours front garden and watch all the professional photographers shop at the camera shop across the road.
