Fuji upon waking; Yamanakako, Japan
Last year I was in Yamanashi with my wife and kids, having some onsen [hot springs] and just chilling out for a few days. We were, according to the hotel cleaner, in the room with the best view of Mount Fuji. Which was a shame really, because for three days all we saw was fog.
Then, on the morning we were leaving, my wife woke up at 5.20am and said; 'You have to look out the window.....now!!"
There was Fuji-san.
I grabbed the camera and started shooting.
It's not very often you get to shoot a picture like this whilst still in your pajamas....
