Early morning, just seconds before sunrise at Grand Lake, Colorado. The previous day was warm, so the water was misty in the cold morning air. Ten minutes later, the sun was on the water and the mist was gone. It was a special moment in nature, even though the loud crack of a hunting rifle nearby broke the silence and sent me hustling for the car.
