Queen of Scone Palace

This was a lucky shot. She struts around Scone Palace like she's Queen of the place. Reminds me of a fairy tale.

As part of a respectable company that leads a team of graphic artists, I find this photograph OVER PROCESSED. It' is indeed a beautiful picture (NO DOUBT ABOUT IT). If I was just given the opportunity to jude, I could have included this in the magazine ONLY, ONLY if the 'OVERT PROCESSING' is NOT A RULE. I therefore conclude that the jpgmag judges did a bad job in choosing this picture as well as some (over processed) pictures that were included in the magazine (dream theme).

Beautiful Image! BTW only the males get the large plumage in the back, to attract the females ;) But wonderful picture!

I adore this photo. 'over processed' , under processed' "OVERT PROCESSING"- whatever. It is serene and dreamlike. Great job.

I'm a commercial photographer of 25 tears and this image isn't overprocessed. It's a tad everexposed in that there's not a lot of detail in the bird's feathers, leading me to believe that they are clipping. Clearly the camera exposed for the highlights and the shadow areas are fine. Perhaps a little burning on each side, but thats allowed. I don't think Marc understands that burning, dodging, contrast & color adjustments are allowed. There is clearly no manipulation with layering or masking with layers in the image. It's just a cool capture.
