Ice and Fire in the land of Volcanos

Everytime I fly from Quito to Cuenca, I get amazed by the beauty of the "Volcano´s avenue". Far in the horizon we can see the Sangay Volcano in activity furiously sending ashes to the skies. As a wall, the snow mountains of "El Altar" are protecting the green valleys of the south. It is not an usual view, because only a few days in the year you can see both "El Altar" and "Sangay" almost clear.
