Sunset over Mount Fuji from Minami-oi, Tokyo, Japan
The perfect end to a perfect day. Earlier I was at a press conference shooting pics of Oscar-winning director Hayao Miyazaki, the Japanese animated film guru. An amazing and rare priviledge to hear him speak.
This sunset really crowned the day. Shot from the roof of our flat in central Tokyo.
This is paradise for me; getting in the lift on the 8th Floor where we live, going up to the 13th Floor, getting out on the roof with my camera and just soaking up an amazing scene that includes one of the world's iconic mountains.... even if sometimes, like on this occasion, Fuji-san is being a bit shy and hiding behind the clouds. The great thing about sunsets? There's one every day. Reminds me why it is so great to be alive.
