Motel, VA
For me the ultimate holiday is the American road trip which is always an adventure filled with excitement, mystery, beauty wonder and the unexpected. With Camera and notebook it is a journey on many levels including that of self discovery.
This photo was taken in a Motel in Front Royal, Virginia. It was my first road trip and I was driving back from New York City to Kansas City, Via D.C. and I was looking forward to driving in the Appellation Mountains the next day.

I did, I did!!!! I remember the bedspread and the Giddeons! Oh, and Yea...that's that place with the free coffee and the little soaps iin the bathroom. They don't even charge you for the soaps! Cool! Small world!
