I caught these wild geese preparing to form V-shaped formations, before they head on their long jurney. There were hundreds of them flying maybe a mile away from me, forming various shapes over the woods. It was really a big pleasure and quite a treat to see them. Photograph was taken on a cloudy and cold November day using a handheld telephoto lens.
