Apathy
While temporarily residing in Cyprus, I am continually bombarded with this type of "graffiti". They are not removed or even hidden. This particular defacement has remained for as long as I have been here (almost 2 years). The Cypriot people have lost all perspective when it comes to the historic events of the rest of the world. Their apathy allows this type of obscenity to litter the entire island. Without reaction.
