Ranger's ger in Hustai National Park
This is the home of one of the rangers of Hustai National Park, where conservation of the Takhi, a wild horse, is taking place. The ranger lives here with his wife and children. There is a similar ger to the one pictured beside it. Usually all the family will sleep in one ger. The motorbike is essential for the ranger to carry out his job when he is tracking the wild horses out on the steppe.
