Illuminatti: A Holy Flame
Submitted to Photo Challenge: Lens Flare
I shot with a long lens (Tamron 28-200) and noticed that a subtle shift of "centering" the flame created differently placed lens flair. This was the only one that placed the flame in a perfect "bubble" halo like in biblical renderings. What is remarkable is that this multi-lens optical system didn't leave multiple internal refractions of the light - extending to multiple lens flares. A testament to the attention to manufacturing detail and coating science.
