The Hachiko Exit of Shibuya Station in Tokyo is one of the most crowded areas in Japan. Most everyone is all business here, but some people find the time to smile.

Thanks, Martin. Nice to get a comment on the very first photo I've posted on jpgmag.com. I shot that at f/10 to get some depth of field but had to be at ISO 3200 because it was well nigh twilight.

Lovely shot one really gets the feeling of the movement in the station, a good look at the different characters and their expressions, the crowdedness and a feel for Japan, congratulations!

Thanks, Sonia. It was indeed hustling and bustling. I took a lot of shots here but I like this one in particular because of the contrasting smiles of the two girls in the foreground.

Thanks, Christopher. I thought about blurring the background but I thought to have it relatively sharp would emphasize the density of the crowd.

I like it. especially with the smiling girls in the fore ground. And trying to look at all the faces surrounding. Nice shot!

Thanks, Christine and Sherry. I wish I had a higher vantage point, though, for a better perspective of the crowd. And what a fast moving crowd it was!

This is a wonderful multicharacter study. It is fascinating, and you could look at it for a long time discerning the expression on each crisply photographed face. A very interesting capture, full of life and motion.

this photo reminds me of my first visit in Asia, being caucasian I would feel a little bit lost in this crowd... but the girls are so beautiful :)
