Ozark's Nirvana
A friend and I recently took a trip to a music festival called Spook Stock. It was at Camp Zoe, which is in the Ozarks. The mountains were absolutely breath taking in this autumn day while the grass was the brightest green, the sky the brightest blue, and the trees a delicious mix of red, yellow, orange, green and brown. As the sun was setting I saw a group of hippies doing Zen yoga poses in the beautiful, orange, glowing side-lighting on top of a hill. Their sun kissed bodies barely covered by paisley cloth and hemp jewelry, they seemed to have accomplished nirvana, the state of being free from pain and worry from the daily grind. I never got around to asking their names as that would take away from their meaning, or at least what I interpreted as such. They were naturally astonishing and very clearly in nirvana, Zen, and most of all, love.
