My wife was throwing bits of bagel in the air for the seagulls. I stood behind her, upwind, shooting pretty much blind - all the movement was too fast to frame anything. Out of some 50-odd images, this one worked.

    i think i definitely like this one better only because you can tell how big he is. he already fills up so much of the frame that theres almost no need to crop it.

    on the pc/mac, i prefer looking at full frame photos simply because it matches the screen dimensions... it also trains me to frame the moment exactly as it is on the view finder. printing, however, is a different story where cropping can really make a big difference on a sheet of white canvas! at the end, what matters is that we expereiment and have fun! cheers!
