it's a dog's life
Sigh... how I do like dogs. Especially the medium and large ones, the Labrador crosses, the gangly dorks of dogs, the lazy bums of dogs, the mutts, the wrigglers, the emphasizers. A playful dog can turn me into a ten-year old again: racing, dodging, wrestling, laughing. They are such innocently joyful souls, and I am so glad there are so many of them in my life.
This particular chap is Calvin. His people are good friends of mine, and though he is rumored to be camera-shy, I managed to catch him reclining by the window one night. I do believe Calvin was pretending to be asleep, so that none of the two-legged animals might be tempted to ask him for his chair.
Taken with my Nikon FM on expired Kodak Ektachrome 100HC film.
