Photographing in Ybor City my friend and I were stopped on the street by an artist and he asked us if we wanted to come up to see his studio right across the street. He took us up to apartments that were each dedicated to a different artist. Paintings were everywhere. He took us into this one big room where this female artist was hard at work on a painting. We photographed around and I was able to catch this portrait of her when she took a break from the canvas. I enjoy art because there is no age, gender, or nationality descrimination. As long as you have drive and vision you can do whatever you want.
