I LOVE this one. contrast, use of positive and negative space... green chair against what looks like teal wall and the yellow flowers. THe lighting is great.

Very classic, in tones of the Old Masters paintings. The white table cloth and yellow flowers catch the eye, as does the brass lantern. Wonderful composition.

Wonderful find...and in a museum. Sure there are a lot like this still around today. My Grandma used to sit at a table like this and flatten out the tablecloth with her work-worn hands. Remember the rough sound her hands made as they brushed over the cloth. Yes definitely nostalgic.
