Imagine going camping in the Smoky Mountains. Now imagine waking up the next day to find out there's a blizzard outside. My friends and I went exploring the mountain side in the blizzard, and I captured this shot of my friend trying to keep warm. This was definitely the coldest camping trip I lived through.

Thanks Jared. The temperature was below freezing that night, and we slept outside in a fairly light tent. We didn't expect it to be that cold, so we packed very light. Just so you know how cold it was, when I cracked an egg onto a metal bowl to make scrambled eggs, the eggs froze solid in less than a minute. Oh, all our drinks in the car were frozen solid too. Not the most fun trip weather wise, but the pictures were great. The "Ember under the stars" image was also taken on this same trip.
