Prayers Ablaze
Chau Doc, Vietnam - Three women tend a cauldron of burning prayer papers at Chua Xu Thanh Mieu (Lady Chua Xu Temple) in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. This photo was taken during the Ba Chua Xu Festival held annually in the fourth lunar month, when throngs of pilgrims come to honor Chua Xu, the goddess of wealth and good fortune.
