How many characters can you squeeze in one city?
When my friend and I went to Edinburgh, Scotland we saw many people in costumes even though it wasn’t Halloween. One afternoon we were walking down the Royal Mile and I noticed a large crowd gathering at a phone booth. When I went for a closer look, I saw that there were people dressed as nearly every cartoon character you could imagine and they were all trying to fit in one phone booth. There were no explanations given, they just snapped some photos, pulled themselves out and walked off.
Later that night as we sat at a pub with our new Scottish friend, we saw several ladies looking like badly dressed golfers. As peculiar as that was, I had seen something like that before in a movie. A few minutes later, about 15 guys walked in with nappies (what we call diapers) on their heads! I turned to my friend and asked why they would have nappies on their heads and he just shrugged and said with a smile, “We’re in Edinburgh!”
