This is my sister Jillian. She is exactly 1 year and 10 months older than me. Like most sisters we are 50% best friends 50% arch enemies. Compared to her most of our friends think we are polar opposites. I have long, brown, curly hair, brown eyes, I live a counterculture lifestyle and dress like a “hoodlum,” (I prefer the term “artist”) and she has short, straight, blonde hair, bright blue eyes, lives a live full of sororities, academics and religion. That is why I love this picture. Though I am younger than her and we have our extreme differences, when its just her and me, we share the world with all its hearts, stars, rainbows, butterflies and flowers. We forget about our disagreements and almost regress back to when we were little girls and all we had was each other. Now she is in college and I moved out of the house, we do not get to spend as much time together. But I know she will, like this picture, always be thinking of optimistic love.
