night stand
this was an eery and cold shot as I had climbed the fence guarding where nyc keeps all the salt for the winter roads. all good... you won't find me under anybody's bridge on a warm summer's evening. well, i take that back. I have dared to shoot that, too, but i prefer the stillness in the winter. this is one in a series called "Beautiful Things In Harlem" commissioned by The Studio Museum In Harlem.

Love the foreground and the contrast with the background.

Fantastic!!! Like an urban stonehenge waiting to be cast off into the yonder.

It felt like that when I was trying to capture the image. If you don't mind, I'll use that as part of the repertoire for this one: urban stonehenge.
