The villagers of Trampoung, in the north of Cambodia live among the sometimes deadly leftovers of thirty years of armed conflict. The community cannot use its rice-producing land because of the threat of uncleared landmines. Most of these impoverished families rely on the tiny income derived from collecting ordnance--both exploded and unexploded--for the scrap metal trade. It's a dangerous business, and a sad existence, to say the least.
