After having kept this saddleback caterpillar in captivity for one week, I was startled to find that - over the course of just two hours - dozens of parasitic wasp pupae had ruptured through its exoskeleton.
Talk about having a bad day...
This is not the same caterpillar I posted earlier - that one is still healthy.
