Verrazano-Narrows Bridge
The Verrazano-Narrows Bridge between the Boroughs of Brooklyn & Staten Island, New York City.
This is my first bridge shot. The intention was to get the sun going down behind the bridge, but (un)fortunately I parked on the north west side of the bridge on the Brooklyn banks (i.e., the sun was behind me.) Not wanting to miss the sunset, I decided to stay and hope for the best.
In the end, I was quite pleased with the image as not only it captured the span of the bridge, but also the lights, the reflection in the water and the fire in the sky above Staten Island.
