in Deut. 11, when Moses told the people to tie God's words like symbols on their hands, he was speaking of the law - God's holy law that is impossible to keep.
that's why Paul's words in Romans 8 are so powerful. the law condemns, grace restores. that is God's love.
and that is where i put my faith.
